1. Introduction

These terms of service (“Terms”) govern your use of Invormed, a portfolio intelligence platform operated by ALDR Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Invormed is a portfolio tracking and intelligence platform designed for UK self-directed investors. The service allows you to:

  • Import and manage investment holdings across ISA, SIPP, and GIA accounts
  • View portfolio analytics, performance data, and sector breakdowns
  • Access an AI-powered chat feature for informational queries about your portfolio
  • Connect third-party AI tools to your portfolio data via the Model Context Protocol (MCP)

3. Not Financial Advice

Invormed is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We do not provide investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, or recommendations of any kind.

All information displayed on the platform — including market data, analytics, performance metrics, and AI chat responses — is provided for informational purposes only. You should always consult a qualified, FCA-regulated financial adviser before making any investment decisions.

The AI chat feature is powered by third-party language models and may produce inaccurate or incomplete responses. AI responses do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon for financial decision-making.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident to use Invormed. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

5. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorised access
  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

6. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of portfolio data you import or enter
  • You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the platform
  • You must not use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • You must not use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform beyond the provided MCP integration

7. Data Accuracy

Invormed relies on third-party data providers for market pricing and financial data. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data displayed on the platform.

Pricing data may be delayed and should not be used as the sole basis for trading decisions. Always verify important information with your broker or an authoritative source before acting.

8. MCP Integration

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) allows you to connect third-party AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or other compatible clients) to access your portfolio data using your own authentication.

  • You are responsible for authorising which third-party tools can access your data
  • We are not responsible for how third-party tools process or display your data
  • MCP access is read-only and uses your authenticated session

9. Pricing and Payments

Invormed offers a Free tier and a Pro tier at £12 per month. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any pricing changes
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us if you have concerns

10. Intellectual Property

  • The Invormed platform, brand, design, and code are owned by ALDR Ltd
  • Your portfolio data remains your property at all times
  • We do not claim any ownership rights over data you enter into the platform
  • You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the service

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Invormed is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind
  • We are not liable for any investment decisions made based on information displayed on the platform
  • We are not liable for any financial losses arising from the use of the service
  • We are not liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or third-party data inaccuracies
  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through the platform or by contacting us
  • Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • We will provide reasonable notice before termination, except in cases of serious violation

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ALDR Ltd regarding the use of Invormed.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
